About Me

My name is Bll Olexa and Stained Glass Designed is now my business. I started creating stained glass about two years ago as a hobby, as most artisans do. This hobby of mine has developed into a passion. After taking classes to learn how to build stained glass in both the lead came and copper foil methods, I have worked on my skills and been told that I’m a very good artisan. I’ve learned from watching true artist, the skills needed to produce professional pieces of this art only come with work. I was told once that everything comes to he who waits, as long as you work real hard while your waiting. I will continue to work in this art form and hope that I will become a true professional artist. All the pieces you see in my gallery were constructed by me. Many of my pieces are copies of designs I’ve borrowed from other artist. As I produce more and more pieces, they will be of my own design. I produce stained glass pieces because, I love to create this art form I will be able to pass to my children and grandchildren, for them to enjoy. I have always believed, it’s not what you take in life, but what you leave behind. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thank you for visiting my gallery.
